New Recording project WANDERER

Sarah went into the studio in January 2026 to record this album of some eclectic, some more well-known jazz standards on the theme of astral and nomadic wanderers - with leading jazz artists David Kikoski, piano; Marc Wagnon, vibraphone; Donny McCaslin, tenor sax; Joey Curreri, trumpet; Nicola Caminiti, alto sax; Joe Martin, bass; and Mike Clark, drums. Coming out in July 2026!

Incarnate Jazz

Incarnate Jazz - Hidden Dimensions is a new project that has developed from a series of midtown Manhattan concerts connecting ancient and contemporary music - using themes of astronomy, science and the natural world. Performances feature a combination of composers such as Hildegard von Bingen, Francesco Landini, Guillaume Machaut, Chick Corea, Charles Mingus, and Duke Ellington, among others, demonstrating the enduring language of music and the time-less connection between old and new. The project may also be presented as a hands-on workshop for high school and university-level students in a boundary-expanding educational experience.

Play of Daniel

Sarah portrayed both the Angel and the Queen in Mary Anne Ballard’s edition of 13th-century mystical play The Play of Daniel, first produced at the Cloisters in 2008 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of its modern debut at the same venue. The production was revived in 2013 and subsequently performed at Trinity Wall Street by Gotham Early Music Scene as part of their Twelfth Night Festival in 2013, 2014, and 2016. On the left, Sarah is pictured in her angel costume, visiting Times Square (sans halo) as publicity for her other otherworldly project, Grace in Time with organist Jeffrey C. Johnson, which was recorded at St. Mary the Virgin church in Times Square. The Play of Daniel is looking for a new production opportunity, as The New York Times and throngs of audience members feel it should be an annual New York City offering.
