A re-release onto compact disc of the Marc Wagnon "Shadowlines" album with musicians from the downtown New York scene, including trumpeter Dave Douglas, pianist Dave Kikoski, saxophonist Bob Malach, trombonist Carl Reinlib, bass clarinetist Michael Lytle, guitarists Nick Didkowski and Mark Lampariello, bassists Leo Traversa, Yossi Fine and Mike Lesie, and drummer Jim Mussen.

An Afterthought
Marc Wagnon's "An Afterthought" is his first collaboration with singer Sarah Pillow, who wrote lyrics to five of Marc's compositions. This recording holds interest from start to finish, as it also features trumpeter Dave Douglas, trombonist Ray Anderson, drummer Frank Katz, guitarist Van Manakas, and bassist Greg Jones.

Conjunction
Herbie Hancock's Headhunters rhythm section, Mike Clark and Paul Jackson, team up with Brand X and Tunnels electronic vibist Marc Wagnon to form "Conjunction". Add Dave Fiuczynski on guitar, Chris Speed and Jed Levy on reeds, and Josh Roseman on trombone and you make a hard swinging, funkadelic jazz cocktail.

Earth is a Cruel Master
After 5 recordings with Tunnels, Marc returns to his own musical vision, combining great jazz-rock with thought-provoking themes such as recent scientific discoveries, climate change and the human condition. Marc takes on the lion's share of the instrumentation, returning to his first love: the drum set- and is joined by long-time collaborators Van Manakas and Leo Traversa.
