Guitarist John Goodsall and bassist Percy Jones are back with an updated version of the Brand X sound with Manifest Destiny, produced by David Hentschel. Their killer brand of fusion never sounded better, with the opening tracks, "True To The Click", "Virus" and "Stellerator" among the best the band has produced. Assisted by drummer Frank Katz and electronic vibist Marc Wagnon, Goodsall uses a large variety of guitars and MIDIed guitars to create progressive jazz fusion in a modern, percussive setting. Manifest Destiny is a marvelous 'comeback' CD that more than stacks up against previous Brand X releases.
