Buckyball Music Wishes you a happy new Year check out our Holiday video card

Four New Videos from the Showcase are Available on YouTube. One by Marc Wagnon and his new 6 pieces band Featuring John Oreilly Jr. on drums who was the last Tunnels drummer on their release Natural Selection The second one is by singer Sarah Pillow with a Medley of two songs from her last release Remixes, this video is featuring two viola da Gamba, for a true fusion of the ages. The third is by Alon "La'aventurra" a new composition, featuring Donny MacCaslin on tenor sax. And the last is of a cut from Jake Hertzoglast CD "Gloria". All of these have sparkling sounds, they are a real treat!

Summer is coming to an end and we have one more exciting show to promote! On the fall equinox, Wednesday September 21st we will do our Buckyball Showcase and we strongly encourage you to come and participate in this unique event, full of new and daring musical adventures. We will be shooting the whole show on video to become a limited release DVD.

In October 2011 Jake Hertzog is touring in Ireland with sax player and Berklee cohort Alex Mathias, see dates below.

Both Jake Hertzog and Alon Nechushtan had their CD release party. Alon has garnered some stellar reviews for "Words Beyond" and Jake's just-released CD "Evolution" is starting strong.

Sarah Pillow is bringing her Perpetual Motion Show to Salisbury College in July, in conjunction with the show, master classes will be given by Sarah Pillow, Dava Sobel, Mary Anne Ballard, Ronn McFarlane and Marc Wagnon.

Alon Nechushtan's CD Release Party for Words Beyond will be at Cornelia Street Cafe on August 7th in New York City, Alon's band will be Donny McCaslin, tenor saxophone; Michael Bates, bass; and Owen Howard, drums. Mark you calender- it going to be hot!

Jake Hertzog is releasing a New CD titled "Evolution" on August 16th, a really ground breaking recording, featuring Harvie S on bass and Victor Jones on drums. Look for streaming samples and downloads to come soon on the Buckyball site.
